THERE WILL NOT BE (OUR) BREAD FROM THIS FLOUR

By | 23 August 2024

The post is partial summary of the published interview with Anton Komat

August is already persistently looking for September.
Parents are already buying school supplies for their children.
The second mowing is “under the roof”. Redemptively, the mornings cool us down at least a little. August dates are rushing towards September.
Ripe crops are already being harvested from the fields, orchards, and gardens.
Has hope borne fruit this year? In some places yes, in others no… not with crops, but it gave birth in a different way, other types of heart and spiritual food for people and for the world. So, yes, it is absolutely true: You reap what you sow! You have to take care of your own seeds this year before winter.

YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW THIS ABOUT SEEDS

THERE WILL NOT BE (OUR) BREAD FROM THIS FLOUR

There are more and more gardeners, and unfortunately also farmers, who buy vegetable seeds at the beginning of the growing season, only to find, to their disappointment, that the seeds have not germinated.
Regardless of the fact that the causes of such a phenomenon may be in the temperature and humidity of the soil, we can read that the germination of GMO seeds drops by more than 50% already the next year. Therefore, there is no point in counting on your own seed material from vegetables from GMO seeds.

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Gardeners used to let the best crops go to seed and save such seeds. Those gardeners and farmers who use self-grown seeds all the time, and who grow them themselves, are the winners in the self-sufficiency category. In recent years, the offer of seeds in shops and nurseries has been reduced to a small number of providers, this year in my country we found that in many places it is possible to buy seeds of only one brand.
Those people who grow their own seeds have really excelled in these conditions, when more and more people have lost sight of the truth about the importance of growing their own food. Quite a few of them also share some of their self-grown seedlings with others, thus self-sufficiency with self-grown seedlingss gets the necessary impetus. And this is very important. We know, that one reaps what one sows. If there is no seed, there is no sowing and there will be no harvest. Self-sufficiency with plant seeds is very important for nutritional self-sufficiency, for nutritional independence.
An additional, very important benefits:
This is real case, how people connect with each other again! The importance of social cohesion in local communities is invaluable. Digitization, which actually distances people from each other, isolates them, pulls them into the virtual world, must not fool us, must not make us addicted. Actual interpersonal contacts, connecting activities, a group project here and there – these are the real wake-up calls that wake people up from the phantom and bring them back to the real world.
When ice bombs the size of ripe peaches often fell from the sky this year and destroyed gardens, fields, plantations,…, among other things, we could deeply feel what it means to be kind amoung people. Those who had surpluses of vegetables seedlingss, distributed them to those whose crops and vegetable plantations were destroyed by devastatingly huge hail. Actions were self-initiated and truly heartfelt. So, yes, there is still hope for a way out of the illusion of crises and technocratic solutions, because it is still true that you meet friends in difficulties.

SCIENCE PROGRESSES ONLY BY DESTROYING SURVIVING DOGMAS

GMO TECHNOLOGIES (REGARDING SEEDS, SEEDLINGS, FOODS)

Human selection took place by choosing between already existing plant specimens and by breeding target plant specimens within one species.
In nature, there is a species barrier, genes cannot “jump” from lettuce to fox. Genetic technology, however, had the ambition not only to transfer genes through related species, but even from the animal world to the plant world and vice versa.
For example, a gene for the synthesis of a toxin from sea anemone was supposed to be inserted into potatoes, so that any pest that bit into the potato would receive a fatal dose of poison. Apparently, some innovative group thought about this, but then they were reminded in the media that every woman should wear gloves when peeling potatoes, because the poison enters the body through the skin, similar to jellyfish. The creators of this sick idea forgot about that.
It is important to know something: A scientific revolution comparable to the Copernican revolution is taking place in the world. The foundation of gene technology, the central gene dogma, the so-called Crick dogma of 1958, was defined in one sentence: one gene is one protein. And this is precisely what has now been overthrown by the new findings of the new science, epigenetics.
Regarding genetically modified food in the EU, the positions of the member states differ.

One thing is what man has done through selection over the centuries, when he was looking for target traits: higher birth rate and durability, better taste… Man’s selection took place by choosing between the already existing and by breeding target specimens within one species. In nature, there is a species barrier, genes cannot jump from cabbage to cat. Genetic technology, however, had the ambition not only to transfer genes through related species, but even from the animal world to the plant world and vice versa.
For example: The gene for the synthesis of anemone toxin was supposed to be inserted into potatoes so that any pest that bit into the potato would receive a fatal dose of the poison. One of our group was thinking about this, but then we reminded her in the media that every woman should wear gloves when peeling potatoes, because the poison enters the body through the skin, similar to jellyfish.
The ambition developed to decode the entire genome and it was believed that once we located all the genes, we would see what each gene does, we would be able to transfer them to other organisms and thus their functions, and we would be able to recombine from all possible genetic records something new, which nature has not yet created. But at the famous conference in Lyon in 2003, where the results of the Human Genome Project were presented, top geneticists admitted that they knew next to nothing about the genome. That what is supposed to correspond to the central genetic dogma is only a good percentage of the genetic record, everything else is so-called junk DNA that they don’t even know why it exists.

This overthrew the genetic dogma and a new science, epigenetics, was developed, which turned our view of the genome upside down, and this has the character of a Copernican turn in biology. Just as Copernicus made the revolution from a geocentric to a heliocentric system in the Middle Ages, epigenetics overturned the dogma of gene technology. A new biology is emerging, which will have a radical impact on medicine as well. It will be a shock that will give a person a new view of the world.

EPIGENETICS IS THE FOUNDATION OF A NEW HUMAN COSMOLOGY. We all know the popular versions of the fallen dogma: we are victims of our genes, which we get at birth, genes are like some kind of God’s will, we cannot influence them. Just let us, and we’ll fix your genome…

Science advances only by demolishing surviving dogmas!
