The saying means you’ve been tolerating something but are unwilling to continue doing so and you’re ready to make a change.
What I am writing applies to my home country, Slovenia.
The weather was cold and rainy for most of May.
Until today, June 10, 2024, it rains practically every day.
In smaller nurseries and greenhouses and smaller nurseries, people faithfully collect – red snails, apparently 200 or more per day…

Hail bombards from time to time, but more and more often, whitens the landscape and destroys unripe crops, vegetables, fruits, wineyards… People are left without the crops they were hoping for.
Gardeners and farmers are thus “bombarded” instead of being rewarded. But, after a day or so, when the tears stop flowing, they remove the destroyed vegetation or they are cutting it down and already planting new seedlings.
On social networks, groups gather on their own initiative and voluntarily help affected farmers in all possible ways.
People give each other new vegetable seedlings. Something beyond ordinary hope is happening.
A lot of pain and anger is transformed into perseverance and replanting. Stories are written about brave people, about their choises in heavy “life trials”.
Hope dies last. Or never! Persistence wins! Life wins!
Natural Order. It resets and will reset. But even this requires a kind of foundation, some sort of preamble:

I close all entrances, all windows and all exits. I will never welcome you into my world again, not even for a short visit.
I spread strong anti-current nets over my plantations. They guard against raging storms that rain destructive hail and cannot control their anger. They are similar to people who faithfully subvert the natural order day after day. Day after day and every day. WE MUST WEAVE WEBS STRONG ENOUGH TO PREVENT THEIR DESTRUCTION!”
