THE WISDOM OF SILENCE
Much is revealed
in the absence of words
and in the presence of silence.
Somewhere there is silence always and everywhere.
I travel there, I stay there
and I am reluctant to return to this derailed world.
That place is just there,
drenched with rain or illuminated by the sun,
I don’t care.
Whether it there is there day or night,
whether there the sky is clear or cloudy,
I don’t care.
There I leave the stones alone,
there I collect only the most precious gems.
In the real world, however, people collect stones and constantly count
how many are already in their collection.
They overlook the gems because they are busy with the stones.
The beauty of silence is peaceful, timeless, eternal.
It smells like my loving home in my heart.
It is peaceful, loving, kind and warm there.
It is safe, homely and quiet there.
