Ten years ago, as the producer, I brought to the Slovenian market a wide range of my own developed products of sustainable natural origin that do not contain measurable active substances and can successfully replace a variety of plant protection products in food production – pesticides, insecticides, and even some herbicides. The fact is that these products have a holistic effect directly on the plants and thus implicitly (through plants) also on the soil where these plants grow. According to the instructions of the Slovenian Food Safety Agency, the products were placed on the market as products for general use, which means that they do not need to be registered under EU legislation (Pesticide safety on the EU market). Nevertheless, 64 products have been acquired the Certificates of Conformity for use in Organic Production (issued by Institute for Organic Production, Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences Maribor, University Maribor, Slovenia / EU).
